Trails for Creston Valley Society is in search of our next Board Treasurer. This pivotal role involves managing our finances, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to community projects.

All systems are in place and we offer extensive training, thanks to our experienced Treasurer of 10 years.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and online banking.
Issue cheques, and tax receipts, maintain records, CRA, and BCR reporting.
Assist with reports and grant planning.

Qualifications:
Background in finance or accounting.
Familiarity with accounting practices.

This part-time volunteer position, requiring approximately a couple hours per week plus monthly board meeting, is ideal for those with financial acumen and a passion for community involvement.
