On June 6th, we are bringing 40+ volunteers together to clear 4km of access road to the Nun Lake trailhead — helping restore one of the Creston Valley's long-neglected backcountry gems back to life.

About the event
Nun Lake Trail used to be a well-travelled and cherished route, paired with the neighboring Monk Lake Trail as a popular backcountry destination for Creston Valley residents and visitors alike. Over the years, without maintenance, sections of the trail have become severely overgrown — and in some places, the trail has disappeared entirely.
On June 6th, we will be working to clear approximately 4 km of road to reach the Nun Lake trailhead, making the trail passable and setting the stage for the full re-establishment of this historic route. Every pair of hands will make a real difference.
