Two work bees (July 27 and August 17) built about 700 m of trail including the final section of the new West Ridge Trail and just over 200 m of the new start for the Rim Trail from the existing Mt Thompson campsite. The new West Ridge Trail is 95% done so it is now possible to hike from Km 1.7 on the Mt Thompson Forestry Road to the top of Mt Thompson (just over 9 km). More information about this new trail will soon be posted on the Creston Community Forest website. Thanks again for your help.
