We’re excited to share that new trail signage has been installed to help hikers explore the Williams Creek Falls Trail with confidence! Portions of this trail are on private property, so we respect that the owners have granted the public the privilege of using it.
This trail offers a stunning variety of scenery — from lush cedar forests and rocky bluffs to sweeping views of the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area. The path follows a part of the historic Dewdney Trail, giving hikers a glimpse of the region’s natural beauty and history.
You’ll find panoramic lookouts over Leach Lake and wetlands, and eventually, the peaceful Williams Creek Falls — a refreshing reward for your efforts.
Getting There:
From Creston, head west on Highway 3 for 10 km. Park at the Summit Creek parking lot, walk past the gate, and head north along the CVWMA access road. After crossing the bridge, bear left; this is where your adventure begins! The route becomes more apparent as you climb toward the rocky bluffs — just follow the signs and enjoy the views!
Big thanks to our volunteers and the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area, who helped make this trail even more accessible for everyone!
Again, please note that portions of this trail cross private property – please obey all signs and respect the wishes of the landowners.
