Barbed wire fencing removal

Please join us on Sunday April 24th at 1pm to remove the abandoned barbed wire near Boulder Creek at the south end of Kootenay Lake along Hwy 3A.

In teams, volunteers will tackle different sections of fencing. Another group will do litter pickup along the roadside. Food and drink for volunteers will be provided.

Fencing can contribute to needless wildlife injury and death.

This barbed wire removal work bee and roadside litter clean-up is a collaborative event between Wildsight, Rod and Gun Club, Friends of Kootenay Lake, Trails for Creston Valley Society, and CVWMA.

Pre-registration is appreciated. Doing so helps us coordinate efforts and ensure you have necessary information and an enjoyable experience.
